There was something amiss about Hogan’s road to WrestleMania 18. The red-and-yellow sayer of truths that the previous generation fondly remembered wouldn’t have smashed a semi-truck into an ambulance to try and kill The Rock. Even Hogan can’t hide his astonishment when the fans let out a tectonic roar as he flings Rock to the canvas out of a collar-and-elbow.Those sitting through the aimless post-Attitude doldrums embraced this throwback twist with excitement, and wrestling (for a little while) belonged to Hulk once more.
